Organist, pianist, conductor and high school teacher Andrea Pedrazzini, born in Bellinzona in 1992, began studying piano at the Vivaldi Academy in Locarno at the age of six with Francesca Rivabene and then with maestro Michele Fedrigotti. During his scientific high school studies, he continued studying the instrument with maestro Leonardo Leonardi, a teacher for over 40 years at the Milan Conservatory, and theory with maestro Sergio Bianchi, taking the exams as a private student at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan.
In September 2017 he began a course of study and improvement at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano with maestro Stefano Molardi obtaining in 2019 the Master in Organ Performance. As director he continues his studies at ZHdK (Arts University in Zurich) with Markus Utz and Daniel Schmid. Over the years he has played not only as a solo organist and pianist, but also with chamber groups and orchestras in various concert festivals in Switzerland and abroad.
